Agingerbugg, keep us posted as to how good it is. I am hoping to go maybe next thursday... pending how much work I have at that time.

i went this sunday. it was really cool in 3d. no gimmicky stuff, just good depth on the screen, and it does not last four hours. closer to 3 1/2. intermission between was about 20 minutes, maybe less depending on your theater. our movies were scheduled at 3:30 and 5:30. we left the theater a little after 7. it was cool to get to see these on the big screen again. now im looking forward to beauty and the beast 3d!!!

Yes, the ads say there is an intermission.

That's what I really like about the real-D technology...instead of the movie jumping out to you, you are brought into the movie.

We will be going sometime next week and I can't wait!

I just saw them today, and I thought the 3D was well done. There was certain scenes, I was just WOWed. I picked out certain things that I didn't notice in the films before as the detail was amazing the first time, and seeing it now in 3D was great. It was good to hear some of the Randy Newmans song in surround sound again too especially "You've got a friend in me".

And I havent seen Toy Story 2 in quite some time and not as many times as Toy Story 1 so that was neat to see again as the first Toy Story, I already kinda knew exactly what scene was next lol (but still good none the less)

Though I did leave the theater with a headache, there was a 5 minute intermission at our theater. I recommend everyone to check it out!!

Went this afternoon. I was surprised at the crowd, or the lack thereof.

These are two of my favorite movies. The 3D additions were well done and I also noticed things I had not remembered from before. For us, the intermission had several trivia questions. It was fun listening to the adults yell out the answers with the same enthusiasm as the kids.

What I really enjoyed was the trailer for A Christmas Carol. THAT WAS WAY COOL IN 3D!!! I was excited to see it just for the effects alone!

DH and I just returned and we LOVED it!!! The 3D looks awesome and it was great to see these on the big screen again and laugh! DH had never seen Toy Story 2! Can you believe that?! He loved it! I also got to hear one of my treasured tracks, "The Cleaner"!

The only thing I can say is "Now I hate kids more". Movie was great but kids in the theater were just.......I can't say here. If you don't want kids go to the latest show that you can.

I went to the 12:00 Friday show and there was probably around 10-15 people there so it was really nice.

We went to the 7:50pm showing and it was DH and I and two other couples, they left after the first movie, did they not know there was a second one to follow?! Anyhoo, we were the only two in the theatre for the second Toy Story, it was great! 8-) I would recommend a later showing to be kid free.

Hmm, that would be good, but the only shot I have at doing it would be early afternoon. I am just hoping that I can get a 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon just to be there when all the kiddies are coming home from school. This is still all pending that much anticipated and hoped for break in my workload.

You're a college student - aren't those "breaks" really called "parties"?

LOL I'm a commuter so there is no partying for me. I really don't care since I'd rather have a good time sober and then remember how much fun I had the next morning. I have still yet to figure out what is so great about those college parties. The closest I have even come to partying is celebrating a big upset win a couple of years ago on Thursday night football
