Unlike some HM purists, I love the holiday overlay. How do you feel?

I really like it since it's good to see something nice for the holidays. Plus I grew up with TNBC and I think it's great.

I'm not fond of TNBC but i still enjoy the Haunted Mansion dressed up in it. But I only go on it once per trip at christmas time vs. 3 times per trip at ordinary times.

I love the Haunted Mansion overlay! I was so excited the first year my Mom and I got to go see it in person. She loves the Nightmare Before Christmas so she was even more excited than I was.

I like Nightmare before Christmas and from a business sense I think decorating some attractions for christmas or Halloween is a smart thing to do . Also every year they change and tweak something like the table decorations in the big hall so it is kind of nice and makes each year different. I love the seance room in Haunted Mansion -I have the Tarot card set from when it first opened so it makes me a little fonder of that room especially

I was really skeptical about it the first year the overlay went up. I was afraid they were going to keep it that way all the time. So I was afraid to like it...however once I learned that it was only for Halloween and Christmas, I allowed myself to enjoy it.

...now if only we can get to the park during the non-holiday season so we can see the HM I know and love so much! :)

All I have to add is that I hope they keep the gingerbread man in the great hall area. I love the smell of gingerbread when I arrive to that scene.

Some people prefer "gloomy darkness" over a "scarey christmas". Everyone has their own likes and dislikes. I know DL and TDL have it, I wish WDW could have it. WDW is way past due for it.

Scary Screamings! The overlay is just amazing (and I wasn't even a Nightmare Before Christmas fan prior to seeing the mansion!). The details are outstanding, especially the gingerbread house (carousel this year!).
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Im one that does not like change or updates to legacy rides but knowing that it reverts back after the holidays makes the difference. I really enjoy the TNBC holiday display.
