Never stayed at them, but pure theme wise I would go for Pop Centruy... Something about the supersized 8-trax maybe...

I've never stayed at a Value Resort. Pop Century looks the most entertaining to me though.

Pop Century is the newest, lots to offer for $74 per night. :)

I have stayed at both the AllStars (many times) and Pop Century, and while I am sick of the AllStars, I love Pop Century. The location is a lot better, and I prefer the decor of Pop Century to the AllStars.

Granted my true favorite is the Grand Floridian, the pocketbook doesn't allow me stay there very often. I have stayed at every Resort on property with the exception of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. One day I will do that just to do the Sunrise Safari.

Yeah, since it is the newest is another great reason for it being the most entertaining. I visited Pop Century during my last trip in November 2004. I believe we went to the main building where the big gift shop is, and a food court, too. And the pool outside looked very cool. It just looks a lot better and more fun to stay in than the AllStar Resorts.

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is without a doubt my favorite resort on Disney property. It is definitely worth saving up money for. And the Sunrise Safari is amazing. The whole resort is brilliant with its theming, dining, and entertainment. But make sure you don't go just for the Sunrise Safari, there is so much else to do besides that.

jkm8113, definitely try the AKL on your next stay! We love the Grand Floridian too (along with most of the Deluxe properties) but the AKL surpasses the GF for us! It is amazing.

I've only stayed at Pop Century and no complaints about it. Plus it has heated pools, which comes in handy when you visit in the colder months

While I have never stayed at a value resort, I have toured them all when I go resort hopping. I like the music & pop century the best.

I realy like the All-Star Music. We try to get a room close to the front by the lobby, because at the end of the day, when you get off the bus, the last thing you want to do is walk. And in the morning, you are closest to the coffee. Buy the refill mugs. Also bring ear plugs, cause this is where the families with little children stay.

We never used to stay in a value, but tried it last October for 2 night to save some $ and to check out the themeing of a value resort. My DH and I were so impressed with Pop Century, we're going to try (with our kids this time) the Allstars for 2 nights this summer before heading to our DVC. We can't wait! We're also staying at POP for another 2 nights, with kids and in-laws this time, in October before going to DVC. (We request top floor so that other's "little ones" aren't running above our head all night  )

If you haven't tried it, you really should - you'll be pleasantly surprised!

call me ignorant or whatever, but what is "DH"? I've seen a couple of people saying that in various threads and I ave no idea what it means.

Thanks for asking, js3901 - there are probably others out there who'd like to know too! DH = Dear Husband, DW = Dear Wife, DS=Darling Son, etc.
