I believe the TTA was pushed back because they are demolishing the former Skyway station in Tomorrowland. From the TTA, you can see over the wall(s) and see what they are doing, which Disney probably doesn't want you to see until Space reopens.

Looks like they may finally be putting a structure between the load platforms and the upper tiers of the track so that you feel like you are on a load platform completely, and are not seeing the ride going as you wait.

Also, there are some rumors of the queue getting games to play similar to those at Soarin'. They had Disney research at the queue for Soarin' interviewing people after they got off the ride about their queue experience.

TTA Finally reopens in 3 days! September 12!

Entrance and tunnel music needs to stay.

I was on it yesterday. Nothing new was done except the lights.

Was Space Mountain as eerie as it is in that YouTube video?

Does anyone have any pics of the demolition of the skyway express terminal in WDW's Tomorrowland? After all these years - finally! - getting rid of the dead space!

You can see it in the YouTube video I posted above. I am so glad they are getting rid of it. It was a waste of space and just a reminder of how that area of the park needed a lot of TLC. Glad to see it's being done.

Nope. Just strange because the music wasn't on.

And there also the ride wasn't running so you heard no motors or screams. It was a bit eerie with the silence, but also strange because it was something we hadn't heard before. It had a warehouse feel to it.
Are we there yet? When can we go back?

I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

Wow that video was interesting. It's amazing as to how much you get to see now on TTA Blue Line. It gives you a bird's eye view of the demolition and the quick peek at SM with the lights on. I guess most of the major work inside must now be complete in order to let that run.

I can't wait to go on SSE after its done. I was on one of its last runs before it was going to be worked on. We had to wait inline for 30 minutes because of a brake down. We were next and wondered if it would brake down with us on it. That TTA video was interesting.

I only hope that they replace the restrooms that were under the skyway station - we use those all the time!
