Me too. Once got them free at the party for Toon Town's opening. Messy but good.DisneyManInSeattle wrote:#1 Disney Premium Ice-cream bar (the Mickey ears)
And, anything from New Orleans Square. I even put several New Orleans Square Recipes on my Website -- with a link to Subsonic to listen while you cook & eat!

No, no... He's got a point.

That's true! I've always been surprised they don't, because guests were constantly asking us about them. The other food item guests requested frequently that isn't sold in the Magic Kingdom is funnel cakes.jkm8113 wrote: They don't do corn dogs at WDW.

How about the Mickey soft pretzels - ever get questions about those? Those are a DL-only treat that I would certainly like to see at WDW.

Hmmmmmm.... I don't think I've ever even heard of those! Something else to try when we get down to Disneyland...G2-4T wrote:How about the Mickey soft pretzels - ever get questions about those? Those are a DL-only treat that I would certainly like to see at WDW.

I didn't notice if anyone else mentioned it, but at Disney Studios in WDW there is a counter service place near the back, kind of between MuppetVision and the Indy stunt show (off the top of my head) that has a ham and cheese sandwich with arugula and roasted red pepper on foccacia. For something like $6-7. Ridiculously good, especially for the price, ESPECIALLY in a theme park!

If you'd like to try making some Disney style turkey legs of your own, I found this page with some recipes. Bon Apetit!

Yes, you are right "emu" legs. Thank you for the link. I watched them make the legs on the Discovery Chanel. (It may have been Travel Chanel.) Anyway, it was impressive to see.
Once at Blizzard Beach, I waited in line to get an "emu" leg, mouth watering ready to sink my teeth into the thing, paid my money, then the power went out in the stand. All inside the little stand paniced. One college kid leaned on the emergency kill switch, now they had to trow all the stuff away. I begged and pleaded. Victory was mine I walked away with my prise. Everyone behind me (and inside the the little stand) were upset.

I love those Turkey legs, too, they taste like ham to me. And I have not had one in a while. I think I might have to have one next week. If I remember correctly at first you could only find them at the MK, and then the spread to everywhere.ericpabear wrote:Turkey leg !!!! I love their turkey legs.
