Happiest Place on Earth?

Well to me Disneyland is happy at times but there are some times that Disneyland can be a bad place or sad place. Like when everyone leaves the park, everyone is ao angry at something and you hear yelling, crying, and even sometimes fights.

I think it is kinda funny that they say Disneyland is the happiest place on Earth. The way I see it, I think the place can be the saddest place on Earth.

Disney World brings me great joy. I am with my family, we are having fun and are safe. We have plenty to eat, nice place to sleep. Not even a rainy day upsets us. (I get alittle grumpy late at night.) Sad when we leave to go back home. I have been to a web site that has documented all the injuries and deaths. I was very suprised at what all goes on that you don't see or hear about.

Yeah, you always hear crying of little kids, or upset mutterings of people. I once experienced a couple fighting right by Splash Mountain. They were really upset at each other. I guess it's the Happiest Place on Earth...for the most part.

And of course I get sad when it's time to leave. So until the next time I go, I have this site and other Disney-ish things to do in the meantime.

I never get mad in Disneyland, I do get sad to leave, I have alot of fun at Disneyland, oh and WDW hehe.

I'll admit I lost my cool a bit during my last visit to Disneyland just this past week, but come on - if you had had your ex riding your butt your entire trip, you'd be a little on edge too. I've never out and out freaked out while there, though. How can you? It's Disneyland for pete's sake!

Yeah, there is no crying, complaining, whining or frowns at Disneyland!!

But I can understand high tensions. A couple of years back I went in a big group, and a couple of people really ruined the trip for us because they had drama between them. Their moods were contagious, and yeah it was one of those memorable trips. Memorable for the wrong reasons.

You see it's not the parks... it's the people. Most come in already unhappy, or they get that way because they aren't getting what they want.

If you are already upset its easy to stay that way. If you go in with a good attitude though you can come away even happier.

My only bad memories have been the sore feet from EPCOT and the everlasting boat ride to get to the MK at WDW

Overall though its always been good.

I find what when I walk thru the turnstiles of any of the Disney parks that all my cares and worries are left behind. Our biggest disagreements are over where to eat, if I don't have it already planned out.

I don't like hearing parents fussing at their kids. Just go with the flow.

I say it is the kids, that make the parent upset after a while. or just plain tired.

As for the kids, they could be tired, want more but have to leave or can't get what they want.

It all depends on how you look at it. I find comfort in the smallest things at the park. The kids crying and all that are a given. For each person the experience is different.

I can and never will see WDW as the saddest place on the Earth. WDW brings happiness to me everytime I step foot in it.

Disneyland for me is and will always be the Happiest Place on Earth! No matter what mood I am in the moment I step inside the park and see the Mickey Mouse floral mural, I am immediately happy, bubbly, and let all the cares of the world just be forgotten. I remain that way the entire time and for days afterwards. It has a magical effect on me. I love it. I wish I lived back in So. Cal so I could get an annual pass and make it my weekend escape from reality. That is what it is, my escape from reality. I am a kid again and have no cares, except where to eat and what to ride, that is the fun, planning on what to do next.

Kids pitch fits, babies cry at the grocery store, so I don't think Disneyland has anything to do with it. I agree, with AlexLoup, it's not the park, its the people.
Come one everyone, it's off to Neverland, and away we go

Some people don't get the whole Disney thing but for people like us, it is the happiest place on earth

You have to be able to get lost in the fantasy of the Magic Kingdom, etc. That's why the people dynamic is the stumbling block for some peoples unhappiness at the parks. When my kids are misbehaving or arguing at the park (like all kids do at some point on every vacation) it brings me back to reality with all its occasional sadness. But when you look at the face of a 4 year old going through "It's a Small World" for the first time .... well .... there is no doubt about where the Happiest Place on Earth is.
