Yes it's true...I have ridden Stitches Great Escape

Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

The funniest charc. (in the last six films) in my opinion is B.E.N. from Treasure Planet. It's Martin Short, and that man is funny.

My kids are very excited to check out Stitch next month - I, however, will be lamenting the demise of AE! :(

So I just heard that with the rehab they've raised the height limit on Stitch to 40 inches - now wasn't AE reworked with the Stitch theme to allow more kiddos in to experience this? Just doesn't make sense. :?

The current rehab going on now is said to also bring back the smaller ht requirements so more kids can ride - we'll see what happens...

I personally loathe the Stitch attraction, and its not just because I am a die hard AE man but its because the story is just awful, I really doubt the new add on's they have put up are really going to help the show. What this show needs is a massive rework on the script, if it did this I would be a lot more open to accepting the attraction as the AA's in the show are very impressive.

Obviously, I agree.

Sub, don't expect a whole lot, but check it out.
No, no... He's got a point.

I thought it was hilarious. I don't understand why it didn't do any better than it did.

In retrospect I actually liked Emperors New Groove, although I must admit I liked the idea behind the original movie Kingdom of the Sun better, but thats just what I have seen from pre production on that film.

They just tweaked this ride again. They made more changes to make it less scary for little kids.

I liked Alien Encounter. I realy liked going in and watching the other guest first time reactions. But my wife got freaked out and would not go back. Makeing it more "kid" freindly will bring in all the little ones, but loose some of the single adults. I can't wait to see it. If anyone is interested Diney Motion has a small preview (video clip) of Stich's Great Escape. Look under attractions.

Had to do Sitch this trip so that my son could check it out. He thought the Stitch character was really cute and the show was o.k., but not great. It wasn't as bad as I remembered, but I can honestly say that I think AE was better. They should have left it like it was rather than make it lame.

I have to say I liked AE much more than Stitch. Although Stitch isn't too bad, it definitly could be better. I think they made it a little too kid friendly. AE used to be one of the only real thrills at MK.

*sigh* R.I.P. another good ride.

Again, it seems to me that Disney can't think of original quality rides anymore. They have to base it off a movie. Expedition Everest seems like the only original attraction since... gosh.. i don't know. I was going to say Indy but that's based off a movie.

Where has all the creativity gone??(Oh yea, they closed the Animation Studios) I am looking for some more original programming. Doesn't anyone have any new fresh ideas at Disney? or for that matter anywhere, look at all the "reality shows" popping up! UGHHH! If I want reality I will step outside my front door. I want entertainment, amusement, fantasy, not real life, I live that! Take me away Walt!! I am sad to see they re-did Herbie! Who can beat Dean Jones and the old cast, not Lindsay Lohan, pleeezzzzz. Stop the madness! The movie might be good, but I am longing for something new, not re-used. Did anyone get to see Dream On Silly Dreamer? Sorry kinda got off subject, it's not ride related :?
