Thanks for the note Rich! I'm a complete moron when it comes to how these things work. Thanks too for the great music, I love listening to it all day at work and when I get a chance at home!

Requests 96K not available

Post by noledawg » Aug Sat 01, 2009 8:34 am

Yesterday we were fine, and today when I click the windows media player choice under requests 96K, it says it is not the right file type. Same thing happens with winamp.

This has happened before, and I usually just shut down and wait 24 hours. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Is anyone having difficulty with the request stream right now? About an hour ago or so, the music stopped playing and the now playing board is stuck on one track. I closed out of the player and tried to go back in, but I cannot connect.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Hey Guys! Thanks for all you have done to keep Subsonic on-the-air. I can keep my "Disney fix" if I can just listen to the music.

I get an error message "your computer is running low on memory" whenever I try to listen to the Soarin, Star Tunnel and Holiday streams. The Request streams play fine. Is this a stream problem or my computer problem?

What type of computer do you have? Speed, memory?

The Scheduled Stream is buffering every few seconds I can't listen to it. Any ideas of what's going on? Thanks.

Rick,

Those machine should be fine to run the stream. Have you tried winamp?

I fixed that issue. Seems we had one bad playlist.

Thanks for your help Rich! I tried Winamp (but wasn't impressed) it didn't work on those streams either. My cell phone will still work on all of them. So I think the problem is surely on my end and not the streams.

I wonder if my virus protection could be the cause :? Surely not.

and I won't call you Shirley again.

Rich, I just discovered something. If I go to the (Soarin, Star Tunnel, or Holiday) streams from the "Listen" page, they don't work for me. If I click on the stream list on the left, they do.

The problem still may be on my system only, but if this helps, I wanted you to know.

Goggled and scarved.
