Buses - SSR/TreeHouses

Post by PopCentury2007 » Aug Mon 17, 2009 9:14 am

My wife heard on a recent podcast that with the addition of the TH Villas, the buses that run through SSR are running twice as long. Does anyone have any experience with longer waits for buses at SSR?

I worked there, so here's my thoughts-

The buses didn't seem to take any longer than usual. I never heard any guest complaints and when I would ride the bus to/from SSR to a park, it never took any longer than normal.

The treehouses are served by two separate buses. One says Treehouse Villas. The other goes to the Grandstand at the Villas. To go to a park from the villas, one must take a bus marked SSR from the Villas to any stop at the main resort.

Ok, so the route/distance will be the same, you just won't be able to find a seat if you're the last stop. Thanks!

Correct! So I'd recommend getting off at the first stop- Grandstand.

We're actually staying at Congress Park (Sept). We'll just have to deal.

Thanks for the info!

Congress Park is second-to-last. But it isn't so bad, really- most times, buses at SSR run about every ten minutes. I've seen three MK buses lined up ready to load guests before (working at Artist's Palette right across from the bus stop and going to the pool bars alot, I see the buses).
