kronk's angel wrote:Just got an e-mail from a Disney magazine staffer asking if they could print my letter in the Summer (or possibly Fall) issue. Stoked!

Basically covers the same stuff I said re: So. Cal. students going to DL during the Bicentennial in this post.

Man, what a long post....
Way to go!
We are not alone in being disappointed at the Disney Mag being cancelled, here are some articles that share our views on the subject: http://www.savedisney.com/consumer/

I don't have a subscription, is it available else where? I would at least like to see the last few additions if possible. Gracias!

I wrote to my contact there at the magazine, saying that it was a tragic loss for the magazine to close, and asking if there were any hopes for it to continue (maybe just as an online feature) and she wrote:

"Thank you for your kind words. We appreciate that here. Right now, I do not know of any plans to continue the magazine. I am sorry that your letter won't be running, but again I want to thank you for your interest."

 :?
No, no... He's got a point.

I'm sorry, Kronk's Angel. That's terrible news.

So, let me get this straight. The cost of Premium Annual Passes is going up, and they are cutting benefits of the pass. Nice. I always looked forward to my copy of Disney magazine.

Yeah - that is what happens when you let management, financial people, and the likes loose. They say "what can we go cheap on today" and start hacking away... You'd think they would have learned by now after all the stupid things they've done to save money.

Thanks, kgmadorin

And, you are so right, G2-4T (did you know PeeWee Herman did his voice? Great character!)

I know PeeWee does the voice of Rex the trainee pilot - you sure he does the voice of the G2-4T as well?
