Not sure if you will read this in time Foldmama but I hope you have a safe flight.

Tomorrow I'm working 1130-10 in France/Morocco Male Restrooms!
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

I'm going to try and make it that day. I'm already going to be over at EPCOT that morning, so I might as well hop on over to MK for the afternoon to make the meet. I'll post again very early Thursday morning to confirm if nothing comes up.

Oops, the news this morning just reminded me of the shuttle launch on Thursday. I had planned on heading east to get a better vantage point so I guess I won't be able to attend the meet after all.

I am sort of thinking of meeting up then running to the Contemporary 15th floor decks to watch. Anyone ever see shuttle launches from Disney? I have seen them from Melbourne (and Cape Canaveral itself), but am unsure if you can see it from WDW or not.

Aaron

when we were down there a year ago (exactly), there was a shuttle launch scheduled on our last day (December 7). everyone was talking about it and saying that you can see it from WDW property. unfortunately for us, we didn't get to see it because of a delayed launch...

I know I got a pretty decent view of the last launch here at school, so I'm sure you'd be able to see it from the Contemporary.

Back when I was at Florida Tech (mid 90's), for 3 years I had a 4th floor dorm room facing north. All I had to do was pull my chair up to the window to watch shuttle and rocket launches.

The launch was scrubbed, so I'm going to try and meet you guys there after all. I'll be in a Rosen College t-shirt.

Wow, was it? It was such a nice day (so far).

I'll be there, um I don't know what I'll be wearing, maybe an ABC store T-shirt.

They're having a problem with the fuel sensors, the weather was fine. I'm just glad they figured this out before I got into the car for the drive to Titusville.

Sorry I missed the meet guys. I was at the MK this afternoon, but my late nights/early mornings finally caught up to me so I left around 3 to come back home and relax.

I was running late, and got there around 4:15, but didn't see anyone. The place was packed with Mousefest people, so I didn't even know where to start.

Next time!

We were able to meet up (3 of us) and it was a nice quick meet. Sorry we missed ya Lion, we waited around until about 4:15 or so (we were at the tables at El Pirata) and dispersed after taking a photo (which shall be posted soon, I hope).

Dang! I did see some people at a table nearby the entrance! Don't tell me...

I totally wasn't expecting a whole bunch of people to be surrounding that whole area.
