The only good thing about these forecasts is that they keep moving it east. Hopefully it will go right between the US and Bermuda! :)

I might need to to go WDW to get away from this storm :D
Wait a sec - weren't you just there? :?:

I'm sure the commissioner took the time to pick out his draft picks just in case.

Amen! I sure hope it goes well out to sea where it won't bother anyone too badly! Until then, the hunker-down-at-WDW plan doesn't sound like a bad idea ;)

Let's see, bad things normally come in threes, you've already had three bad things, maybe you'll be ok with Irene passing on by!!

It's 2011 - bad things can come in fours, fives, sixes, and sevens. Although for some, the worst was in twos.

Looking at the latest projection at NOAA/NHC, it looks like Len90 is safe from it down in WDW only to have it show up on his doorstep at home in NJ on Monday. What a way to end a WDW vacation!

He may not be able to get home! Wouldn't that be awful? Stuck in WDW for an extra day or two! :mickey:

It's batten down the hatches time here!

I hope everyone is safe! Prayers going out to all those in the path...whether on the outskirts or in the direct path...this storm is huge!

I think Len would prefer to have his home still standing in one piece rather than to be stuck in WDW for an extra day or two...

Irene is passing just east of Len now out in the Atlantic, so it should not be a problem for him when he departs Saturday. His plane may have to take the longer way around to NJ, but he should be back at his home in time for Irene to visit him there on Sunday...

Irene is heading northest, passing east of me right now in the Atlantic. Actually, got not as much rain from it as I had hoped...

Mindflipper - We're getting a good bit here near the beach. Temperature is pretty nice as well, don't you think?

I'm praying that this storm starts tracking dead East and moves away from everyone. Prepare and stay safe if it's coming your way.

It's blue skies downtown right now; it looks like it rained over night here and at home...
