If, on your next trip to Walt Disney World, you could only see one nighttime extravaganza. Which one would you see?

I gotta say Fantasmic. Even though I like the one out here in DL there's nothing better.

Wishes for me. There's just something magical about standing in the Magic Kindom, listening to the music, watching Tink come flying down and watching the Fireworks in the Sky.

Illuminations. Something about the music and the movie (on the globe) get to me. Almost as good as the ending of American Adventure show.

Tough call, esp. since I'd rather see the fireworks and Fantasmic at DL! They are good in WDW but just that much better over in California. Illuminations is good but needs a new show, one based a bit more off the water and not on the low-profile floating globe... Hmm, now I actually need to vote!

I'd have to agree with js3901 - There's just something about the way the music and the globe all tie in together . . . Wishes comes in 2nd.

What is the difference between the regular Illuminations and the Holiday Illuminations?

I saw Fantasmic for the first time in December of 2003 and I was blown away!!!! For my money it's a much better show then Illuminations.

I chose Wishes. I've never had the desire to see Fantasmic and IllumiNations just doesn't do it for me. Wishes makes me cry. Even when I listen to the audio at home.

Gotta be Illuminations. After all these years and seeing it so many times it still blows me away every time
