Google Earth Landsat Annual Time Lapse 1984-2012

I found this nifty little site that shows a time lapse for the past 18 or so years using Landsat and current Google Earth images.

I have it centered on Epcot...all you have to do is zoom in a little more to see a bit more detail. What is awesome is that you can see them build DHS, AK, and most of the resorts over the time period. I thought it was very cool.

There isn't much to see for DLR other than DCA popping up and some other construction in the area.

That's really cool.

I zoomed it all the way out and watched the sea ice change in the Arctic Ocean.

This is great! On the WDW you made, it was totally interesting to see the lakes that people made around the area.

yeah...early Landsat photography wasn't all that great...despite how "vital" the images were according to Grandfather from Horizons ;)
