hidden park secrets or unknown park areas
when exiting the Haunted Mansion in wdw look down at the ground and you will see the brides ring in the concreate
or when entering the HM hold back and wait by the main door just before the foyer and wait for Madam Leotas grave to come to life

in wdw, there is a pathway from Tomorrowland to Mickey's Toontown that is hardly used, and has some nice views of the park. It goes behind the Tomorrowland Speedway, and follows the perimeter of the park. you can (at least you used to be able to, not sure how it is now, haven't been down in a few years) get some pretty good camera angles from the path. And, you're almost guaranteed not to run into (or be run into with) any of those double-wide strollers.

Most of you probably know this:
At DLR
In Star Tours after the first drop in the Maintainance bay you can see the needle from Adventures through Innerspace on the right before you exit into space.
On Winnie the Pooh, in one of the rooms you can look behind and see the heads from those guys from Country Bear Jamboree.

Indeed, you can see the "Mighty Microscope" in Star Tours. Also, in the Star Tours queue, right at the end if you look down to the very bottom under the walkways where an old droid seems to be working at a console... That console is an old ride operator's console from Adventures Thru InnerSpace. It has been modified with a new front though. Both pay tribute to ATIS because Star Tours was built in the same location that ATIS once stood.subsonic wrote:Most of you probably know this:

Regarding Pooh, you can see Melvin, Buff, and Max as you leave the heffalump nightmare room. Just look up as you leave that room. It is much easier if you are not in the back seat.

Disneyland: on Indy... in Indy's office there is a map on the back wall... it is the map of the entire ride. There is also a skeleton that has a micky hat on it. Some DL people might know htis already but the Jeep is from the Raiders movie.
Plus the car in the ride can't go backwards.
My friends are getting sick of me telling this to them so it's nice that other people are willing to talk about it.

I read on a few other posts about finding the paintbrush on Tom Sawyers Island at WDW and if you turn it in you get a fast pass for Splash Mountain.
Was there 2 years ago and spent over 1 hour looking for the darned thing - no luck. Anyone out there ever find it? If so, did you turn it in for any surprise?

On the Winne The Pooh ride, there is a scene where you see Mr. Toad giving the deed to Toad Hall to Winne The Pooh. (I think it is Winne). For the people who didn't know this, Winne The Pooh replaced Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
On Mission:Space, there is a reference to Horizons. I think it is an emblem. This is because Mission:Space replace Horizons. And IMHO was a HUGE mistake.
