Epcot Food and Wine festival and snack credits

Post by cy1229 » Apr Mon 16, 2012 5:24 pm

Next question:

Have any of you ever used snack credits for food during the F&WF at Epcot? My step-dad said he heard that using your week's allotment of snack credits for a lunch at the kiosks resulted in not very much to eat, and not having snacks the other days, that it was better to just spend money for whatever you want to try. Since I've never been, I don't know. So, if a person has a normal to bigger appetite, will six snack credits work for a good lunch?

I've never been during the Food and Wine Festival, but I've devoured many a trip report and facebook update about the snacks that are available. Looking at the pictures, it seems that some portions are more generous than others, but the prices are consistently high. I would say I would use my snack credits on the tastings. That way, I wouldn't feel bad if I didn't like whatever exotic food I tried. And I could use my meal credit or just pay out of pocket if I was still hungry after snacking my way around the world.
