Saw this on Cfnews13.com today
http://www.cfnews13.com/article/news/20 ... d=facebook
According to news 13's article an air compressor lost power, which ended up shutting down some of the attractions at the Magic Kingdom.
Though this might be a relevant article for today.....

Oh wow, I'm glad they got everything back running pretty quickly, but it still sounds like they were down for a few hours. I can't wait to hear which ones it involved. I wonder how bad the rest of the lines got because of it!
Can't wait to take my twin boys on their first trip to Walt Disney World! Planning on heading there sometime Feb-May 2014!

It was an interesting day, to say the least...

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”
― Dr. Seuss

Air Compressor's can also control the brakes for a rollercoaster, which would be why Space Mountain was closed.

Brakes would be quite an important thing to have on a rollercoaster
