food & wine festival entertainment
as many years as i've been going to wdw during epcot's food and wine festival, i've never done more than momentarily listen to the entertainment as i walked by. this year i'm actually interested to watch one of the headliners. here's the question. these performers do 3 sets an evening, i assume about 45 minutes each. do they typically play different music in each set, or the same 45 minute set each time? anyone who has knowledge of this, your input would be greatly appreciated for my scheduling needs.

I've always noticed the same stuff being played. It is live, so you never know what will happen, but for the most part, in the past, same.

so i can easily make myself available for any one of the three, and not worry that i have missed anything. either the songs i wanted to hear will or won't be played. it'll be our final night, and i was hoping to just stop in early and monorail back to the magic kingdom for one last tour of the park and "wishes" fireworks before we leave. thanks.

I've gone to the shows...generally they are only about 30mins long. Yes the performers tend to repeat the more popular songs but there are some variations. I'll probably be coming down for a long weekend to see Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. My father and I are Swing fans and loved seeign them last time. I even posted clips from 2 yrs ago on YouTube of people dancing in the aisles. Cant wait!

From what I remember, they play the same set for each performance.
The performers this year are:
Taylor Dane
Kool & the Gang
Sugar Ray
Taylor Hicks
Air Supply
Sister Hazel
Howard Jones
Expose
38 Special
Night Ranger
Billy Ocean
Starship feat. Mickey Thomas
Boys 2 Men
Rodger Hodgson
Jon Secada
Hanson
Rick Springfield
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy
It looks like the best of the 90's to me.
Here is a list to the performers and the dates they'll be playing. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/ ... /concerts/

Hanson??? That is a surprise. I wouldn't mind seeing BBVD, Taylor Hicks and B2M though.

Re: food & wine festival entertainment
well, i haven't heard anyone reply otherwise, so it sounds safe that i won't be missing anything by just catching one. good thing too, we wanted to see roger hodgson (supertramp memories of our youth when we were engaged) and he is only playing on our last night. so we'll catch him for nostalgia purposes, and then monorail on over to mk for one last parade & fireworks display (and maybe a ride or two). thanks for everbody's help on this. i'd sure hate to have left wdw wondering if i'd missed something. for sure now, the schedule that night will not only be the best one, but regret free as well. thanks again!
