millennium celebration - capture the spirit
Does anybody know how/when the track 'millennium celebration - capture the spirit of the millennium' was used? It seems to be a real mixture of pieces including Gavin Greenaway's Reflections and some of his other music?

I remember getting the cd for christmas!
It came free with packs of energizer batteries and even advertises for them on the cd case. The cd lists something like 12 tracks, but it's really just one single track composed of a medley of music used during the celebration.
Here's a picture I found (I guess someone has been trying to sell it since 2005?): http://base.google.com/base/a/6179198887339267520

Yeah, it was one long continous medley of songs that blended together (almost unoticeable). It was basically ACT I of IllumiNations, then the Millennium theme, "Hand In Hand" (a version I've been unable to find anywhere else), then there was a segment from tapestry, and ACT III of IllumiNations. One the cd it was listed as multiple tracks, but unless you're familiar with the music, you would never have known when one segemnt started and where the next began.
I have some footage of Millennium Village on my youtube (I thought it was pretty impressive for a temporary exhibit):

It has a little bit of a cheesy intro, just so I could add a bit of the tapestry music to try and bring people back
. The specific areas of the pavilion shown in the video on in the 'video info' section I think.
Basically the pavilion showed what every country has contibuted to the world and then in the end, asked you what you would give to the world.

2000 was actually one year that I didn't visit Disney World so I never was able to see the Millineium Village and I'm kinda bummed about it. I wish I had seen it, I mean I've been in the building when I was cleaning it last fall but it's pretty empty now and just has speical events but it looks amazing when it was decked out for the Millienium. And the music piece is one of my favorites

I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
