I can't believe Lasseter's wedding pictures are in 3-d...........can you say strange. I haven't seen any 3-d that looks better than just a cheap parlor trick. Meh we will see how this turns out.

I'd say for me the jury is out till I actually see a real 3D movie. Muppet Vision is a favorite of mine, but that's live (does that make a difference?). I hope they can impress me!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I saw Meet the Robinson's in digital 3-d it was IMPRESSIVE! I'm glad I got a chance to see it.

Now then I also saw HP and the Order of the Phoenix in IMAX 3d it was Ummm... not very good, boarderline lame.

It does say in there that they'll be 3-d and the traditional 2-d:
Meanwhile, Pixar movies will be released in 3-D and the traditional two-dimensional format, beginning in May 2009 with "Up," about an elderly widower who embarks on a South American adventure.
So it is basically what they did with Meet the Robinson's, which was released both ways as well. As long as they don't do exclusively 3-d, I'm not too worried. Going 'all 3d studio' sounds like a recipe for cheese to me.

I like IMAX, but not Jaws-3D style.
