As you may know, both my wife and I are Virginia Tech alum. Well, this photo was taken from the air this morning of thousands of students, alum and Blacksburg residents gathering on the Drill Field thanking the world for their support after the events of 4/16/07.

You can see the Memorial to the 32 people who lost their lives on April 16th - it's the half circle shaped area just above the VT. Norris Hall, where 30 people lost their lives is the "L" shaped building at the top right of the photo.

that looks so cool. it was really neat to see everyone showing their support for VT this year. it was probably really cool for the students and alumni to see the football team do so well, too...do you think that can be a little therapeutic?

It wasn't for us here at UVA!!!

Honestly, we totally support VT until we are on the same field/court!

LOL! Same here - we wish we had Chris Long for his college football career.
