Okay you have 30 Disney dollars...
Hey Disney fans, I figure the best people to ask is fellow fans to help me.
Last year for Christmas I got $30 dollars in Disney dollars. I still haven't used them. It isn't much when you think about it really. So I haven't used it yet. So I need help. When I go to Downtown Disney I'm always looking to spend it but can't decide what.
Here's the trick. It's only 30, and I want to get as much as I can out of it. Call it a cheapskates dilemma. If you were in my shoes, what would you buy? Here's the hard part.
I only have a couple pins so I'm not a big pin collector. Some of the things I do have in my house is several Disney posters, an I4 sign shaped with a Mickey head, a couple snow globes, a book of Disney quotes, etc.
So I don't have a lot of really expensive things. Again, you can't get much for $30. I need some opinions! Thanks everyone.

well somtimes snowglobes can be around 40-60, you can alwasy put it towards that, or you can even just save the bills. I know that in time they actually have value to them. Some $1 bills are now worth over 20. You should look into that as well. When I worked at the Disney Store, there were people that cam in all the time just to buy Disney DOllars to collect them.

well, there is always the "bargain" mart. never been in there myself, and not sure if they take the Disney Dollars, but as far as getting the most for your 30 bucks, I'd say this is it...

I think the bargain mart is your best bet. I have been thru there a few times, and its full of some decent stuff. I have gotten some nice bargains in there.
Happy shopping!

When did you work at TDS, Yodiwan? Mum and I worked for them too, from 1995-1997.

You know a couple of my favorite things are our Disney kitchen items... we have two dish towels, some wine stoppers, a bottle opener, and a set of spatulas from WDW all either shaped like Mickey heads or featuring them. And actually, you might be able to get all the things I mentioned for $30 (or close).

Disney Days of Christmas often has ornaments on clearance! That'd be my first stop. 8)

Or just look around for things that YOU like (Ignore everyone else and DON'T look at the prices) and make a list. Then go back and look at the prices. If you are lucky at least one of your choices might be under $30.
If there isn't save the dollars till next time. Repeat as necessary.
Better to get one thing you like than lots of things that are just affordable.

You might want to try the Christmas shop. I think $30 could go a long way there.
