Beauty and the Beast

Post by disney_fanatic » Apr Fri 21, 2006 5:39 am

Is there ever goin to be a Beauty and the Beast ride? Like a dark-ride.
Im thinking similar to SNow White and the Peter Pan ride?

It could start off with the prologue, take you through the story - have the 'Be our Guest' section and have it 4D with bubbles and air blasts etc etc. The Ballroom section could been a room full of mirrors, and as you go round the room, the omnimover could do a 360. :D

A chance, or has the story fallen out of favour with the market

Also the same with Sleeping Beauty, she alwys seems to be over looked

The story hasn't fallen out but rather the era of the dark ride seems to have. If you enjoy B&B, there is a great stage show at the Disney Studios to see. :)

Hmmm, would be a cool idea, but I doubt it will happen. The movie has been out too long. They do have that great show in MGM its a must see.

Trust me. It's a super show. I got my picture taken with The Beast when I was here on vacation back in The 80's. :)

Great stage show at MGM, worth a small wait to get a good seat.

You know, I've never seen the show at MGM though I've seen the off-Broadway show three times!

A dark ride would be really cool...

There's a load of photos from the show at the Disney-MGM Studios on my site (although I know I've messed up the "large" size versions of the photos.. But you can see the show well enough:

and

I enjoyed the MGM B&B show. I always thought Gaston was cool.

Imagine how the ballroom dance would look in a dark ride. Awesome.

The Beauty and The Beast show really is as good as people say. It's almost like a slimmed down Broadway show. From the costumes, to the music, it's a must see show. It may be one of the few things at MGM you have to do!

I agree sleeping beauty and B&B both need to get a ride :-) and with the ballroom playing off what you said they should make it like the teacups for that part.

They also need to make that darkride that they put a CG rendering of on the Little Mermaid DVD set...
