Happy Birthday, Mickey

Post by slotofkit » Nov Fri 18, 2005 12:25 pm

Today (Nov. 18, 2005) is Mickey's birthday. Although not a milestone one, he is 77. Not bad for a cartoon character.

Happy Birthday Mickey Mouse! I did not know he had an actual birthday date other than a year.

and thanks for those Mickey facts, Gorilla.

How much sooner was he out before the rest of the gang showed up? (Minnie, Goofy, etc)

Minnie's "birthday" is actually the same day. They were both in the same cartoon. Pluto premiered a couple of years after. Then Goofy a couple after that, then Donald a couple after that. So, they're fairly close together, but Micke and Minnie were definitely first!

But Mickey is older by a few minutes than Minnie then. Yeah poor Minnie, she always gets overlooked on thier Birthday.

I wonder how crowded DL was on November 18 just last year during the 50th. Where were we? Oh, I worked and had other stuff going on that day. If I was off, we could have gone, having the APs.
