Yep, it's real! The rocket is actually the first stage of the booster that launched the Dragon capsule to the space station. Dragon was the primary mission, which also went well, and the landing of the first part of the rocket is still experimental.

Agreed, although from what I experienced, the choices were slim. Even when making the inital FP the choices were just so-so. And the app just never worked right for me ~ the choices wouldn't show up or they wouldn't save so when we went up to the attraction they wouldn't have any record of our FP
