I gotta agree with a lot of other posters that IOA does have some darn good queues. As for my fav queue in Disney World I would have to say the most immersive one is POTC. Worst park for queues would have to be Epcot, even back in the day (that's the late 80's, early 90's for me) I dont remember Epcot having all that great of a queue line in any of their rides.

Pirates is great, Kali River is also a good one.

Although nothing in WDW compares to Indy Jones in Disneyland. Best Q ever, anywhere! :D :D :D

Isn't it odd how a queue can make all the difference in the world when it comes to waiting in line? Especially in Florida, where it so freakin' hot 90 percent of the year. Having a line with a cover is essential to keeping tourists happy, and decorating it really well makes the wait much more bearable, keeping the customers in the park a lot longer.

That's why I find it so odd that Disney almost took a step backward when it came to Animal Kingdom. The queues are practically non-existent, the lines are out in the middle of the open without even trees to help shade them, and the parking lot is a monster. Meanwhile, Universal goes all out and it really shows. Even the Hulk ride has monitors to keep you occupied while you brave the hour long lines. The difference is night and day.

Maybe there didn't seem to be much to it to some, but I loved the one for Soarin' over in Epcot. I guess hearing the music from "The Rocketeer" just made my heart soar!

Heh heh... You know, I live down here and I've never gone on Kali. For one, I hate getting wet and walking around soaked all day while at the park. For another, I rarely go to Animal Kingdom (I've only been five or six times, as opposed to the hundreds of time to the other three parks). And another, it's usually not hot enough to want to go in the off season when I usually go. I promise to check it out first chance I get. :)

I still love pirates. It hasn't changed since the first time I saw it many, many years ago, but I love it as much now as i did then. You can never get bored with that one.
The only downside to is it that I wear glasses and my new ones are photochromatic. It takes ages for them to adjust to being suddenly in the dark rather than the sun which means I either stand still like a prat waiting for them to change or I need someone to guide me for a couple minutes!

Best Queues

OK...Lets see: I love the Soarin' queue at Epcot. Music is cool, plasma screen trivia is fun.

At MK: Pirates of the Carribean is probably my favorite. But I have to say that Splash/Space mountain are definitely close seconds.

At MGM - Great Movie Ride

Its not the greatest queue, but I love the mural and the quotes outside of living with the land. It has a retro but still current feel to it.

The Pirate queue is great because of the Cannons balls and cannons etc.

And the game of Chess taking place.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
