Yep. That is the same thing I do. Not only does it get me in the mood, it helps pass time the last few days when you are really excited.

I think Disney music is some of the most beautiful, moving music ever. Maybe its because of the memories tied to it from my trips to Disney, but i think even if you had someone who has never been there sit and listen to this music theyd love it too. Theres a little something for everyone. Its well orchestrated and just wonderful.

I enjoy listening because I miss hearing those wonderful sounds that so many park-goers take for granted. Much of the magic of the parks is in their atmosphere, and listening to the park music reminds me of those wonderful times I've had there. I can't wait to go back.

I think just about everyone else here is with you. I know I, myself, can't wait to get down to WDW again.

and Welcome to the Forums. :D

I can hear things that I normally only here when I am at WDW, and it brings back fond and happy memories. If I close my eyes, I can put myself right into the Parks. The naratives, etc. always put a smile on my face.

Some of the music is absolutely wonderful... and it is a way of letting me listen to the rides that my parents went on when they were younger.

Plus it is nice to hear what you usually can't in the ride.

To me, it puts me into a place of imagination.

I play rollercoaster tycoon 3, and I come here to listen to the music that this site has to offer, mainly countless of audio. It just helps me to be more creative in the game. Plus I love theme parks no matter what.
Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

Love RCT3

I like to feel as if I am there, not here @ work. I enoy the momentary "out of body" feeling I get with my head pnone on, listening to live recordings. Hearing the people and all the park sounds, brings me back to Disney World. Thank all of you @ Subsonic Radio for that pleasure.

It helps me remember all of the fun I have had over the years visiting the parks. It brightens up an otherwise dull day at work.

It's different.

Hi everyone. This is my first post. I discovered this station because I had aquired a couple of record albums. One was America Sings and the other was "Mickey Mouse, This is My Life" which included songs from the Mickey Mouse review. Now I am on the lookout for Attraction albums. Doing an internet search led me to this station. I like it because it is different than just listening to the typical Disney soundtrack CDs which we've heard a million times. I also enjoy spoken word recordings so I love the tracks like "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln." Does anyone have the "Hall of Presidents" audio?

In my job, I spend a lot of time either (a) alone staring at a computer, typing incessently, or (b) dealing with human beings who make generally unreasonable requests (can you tell I'm in programming and development of some kind?)

So when I'm alone typing, I want to listen to something... and wheras grindcore and heavy metal would make me want to killcrushdestroy those around me, theme park audio calms me... that, and I'm planning another trip for the little lady and m'self for December... nothing like listening to the audio to get me in the mood for trip planning!

Yes, it's quite amazing how listening makes you want to visit the parks.

I love the music partly because it reminds me of when I have gone before, but also stirrs my imagination and inspires me. I'm an animator and I love the imagination that went into these tracks and the attractions they come from. Disney has always been impressive with their "Imagineering". That's the kind of imagination I am trying to keep going in my own work.

Plus, they are just a lot of fun to listen to. Especially when I am at work and the funny looks I get when the haunted mansion ride-through is playing as they walk by my office. LOL! :D

I get the same reaction. Just wait 'till they walk by while Space Mountain sound effects loop is playing.
