You know, on our next trip in a few weeks, my wife and I will be doing the "Dining With an Imagineer" thing. Hmmmmmmmm.....

I don't know about them being "BIG BUCK" guy. From what I understand a lot of them are project to project Guys or Gals. I know a couple of people who have passed on offers and kept their current Disney positions.

Hello, new to the boards- i was just wondering when all of this is going to be starting? for them to take on what seems like such a large project wouldn't they need to begin work almost immediately for a 2012 opening? i know pixie hollow isnt slated until 2013, but with the majority being due to open in just over 2 yrs? im very concerned that they will end up scaling down what they have?

They never said when in 2012 it would open. So it's anywhere between 2 - 3 years.

They're starting after the holidays, from what I heard. They're going to phase construction, so all of Fantasyland is never closed at one time.

I've heard the same thing from a castmember I know. After the holidays, the castmember will get re-assigned from Toontown.

Thats true, i just assumed they would want it done for spring break/summer as it is usually the most crowded

so after the holidays is whats being heard? thats intersting, thanks for the info!

Certainly a needed refurb. Place was really starting to look run down, and the plans look nice. Great to have some focus on the kids.
