Good ~ I can see where they are trying to make the monolithy things blend, but I don't think SE needs anything detracting from it's aswesome-ness!

Agreed whole-heartedly.

BTW, those spinning things in Innoventions plaza are not there anymore either but they are being kept off to the side of Energy. You can see them from the Monorails.

You never realize how many characters are out and about at EPCOT. BTW: Somehow Belle managed to look straight at you for that picture.

Interesting that the spinning things are down. I'm guessing the tarps will follow in the very near future. Also good to hear that the paint has been removed from SSE.

Could be wishful thinking. They've been on the side of Energy for close to a month now. I think if they were going to get rid of them completely, they wouldn't be in view of guests that long just laying there.

Amy your pics just bring tears to my eyes. We didn't spend much time in Epcot in the fall so I really appreciated those. I noticed you have been posting them faster these days...is the computer behaving??

Unfortunately no, my computer is not really behaving any better :(
I'm really just taking advantage of a little bit slower time this past week. Plus I've been getting grief about how long it is taking to write my trip report  ;)
Plus, once I get the WDW report done, then I can dig back for my photo trip reports to TDL and DLP :D
Thanks for the compliment ~ I hope they are happy tears  ;)

Well, the photos are spectacularly clear and meticulously well-focused, so it can't be the photo quality bringing tears to the eyes...

Well actually, I have a very nice camera and my pics never come out like that, so some of the tears could be "Why cant I do that?"!!
But honestly, the tears are happy tears.

Amy and F1gment ~ Day 12 continued
We left EPCOT and headed over to the Magic Kingdom to catch another showing of the parade and Wishes...the plants were still bundled up against the cold but they looked pretty with the lights illuminating them softly through their blankets...
Image

I have a photo of F1gment waiting for the parade, with napkins tucked into her hat to act as earmuffs, but I know better than to share it! ;)

We settled in to a good spot facing the castle and managed to keep a little more elbow room for this evening's entertainment offerings. The castle is so beautiful with it's lighting at night :D
Image

I tried for an artsy photo of the castle and the light-up Mickey balloons but it was so cold and windy that I'm not sure if it ends up being artsy or just a mess.
Image

I realize this is our third or fourth time to the Electrical Parade and Wishes so I really will try just to share my favorites. It is so hard though since all the twinkly lights and fireworks just virtually begged to be photographed!
Image
Image
Image

You can get a glimpse of how cold it was by looking at crowd on the opposite side of the street ~ if you can see them under all their coats, and hats and blankets that is ;)
Image

Image

The floats lose a little of their magic when you photograph with a flash, but sometimes it is necessary to try to capture a bit of character...
Image

Image
Image
Image

You know you're a WDW nut when you can recognize the character simply by the color of her blurred lights passing by ;)

F1gment and I shared a popcorn and a couple hot cocoas in between the parade and Wishes...brrrr, was it ever cold that night!

More to come...we've lost our power due to a substation transformer or something blowing up in town :( No injuries though!
EDIT: Now Photobucket isn't cooperating...maybe tomorrow!
EDIT~EDIT: Yay ~ all the parties are cooperating...for now...other than the computer

Here are my favorites from Day 12's performance of Wishes...

Awesome Mouseketography again, Amy! And I'm seriously freaked out by how much we think alike in picture taking. I could seriously swear that some of those really are my pictures! In fact, I think I'll go rummage up a couple and post them just to show how close they are... (scampers off...).
