Okay, so really random...
I had a dream last night about the FFL Draft. danimal took LaDainian. But, spaulo, you made some totally off-the-wall pick at number two that nobody could believe. I then ended up taking Steven Jackson at number 3.
I'm not sure why I was dreaming about the draft, but somewhere, deep down, it must be a huge priority in my life.

I have no problem killing the suspense and informing you all that, at least as of right now, this dream will not come true... I will draft SJax 2nd overall.SWHorn wrote:Okay, so really random...

Unless LT is still on the board

Yeah, I'm sure I dreamed that because I figure LT and Steven Jackson will go 1-2.
I can't figure out who to draft 3rd. There's the "safe" pick in LJ now that he's signed his new contract. But, with his supporting cast, is he going to have the same production? Then there are the more trendy picks like Frank Gore or Joseph Addai, both of whom I would love to have. But, who is more worthy of the 3rd overall pick?

Disclaimer: My top finish has only been third in three years of fantasy.
But personally, I'd go for Travis Henry. He's had soem pretty good years at Buffalo, and you know that any running back for the Broncos will automatically have a 1000 yard season. I think he'll fit right in with the system there, and should have a great fantasy season. I have him ranked 3rd overall on my automated list right now. But once again, I don't really know what I'm doing.

I don't know about Gore # 3. You had mentioned earlier about the issues with fumbles, hand injury, and the 9ers bringing in another back at goal line. I also think that if the passing game doesn't develop very well in the first few games, opposing defenses will stack against the run and it will be tough for him to get good yardage. I honestly had him about 10th or 12th on my list, but we'll see.
EDIT: Okay, I checked and I actually lied. I have him 8th. So, You are correct, sir! (Phil Hartman doing Ed McMahon on SNL)

I have LT, Jackson, LJ, Gore, Addai, SA. I love Henry, but I don't necessarily like him high in FF now that he's at Denver.
I have been so busy this week, that I'm going to have to just let it autodraft the rest of the list in the order it already was. I haven't had the time to change the rest.
Well, that and the fact that I can't get Flea Flicker to allow me to change my players. When I move them and hit Save Rankings, it just gives me an error or won't load the page.

I was getting the same error messages, etc. but once I went back I found out that it auto-saved everthing. even though we start very soon, just FYISWHorn wrote: Well, that and the fact that I can't get Flea Flicker to allow me to change my players. I'm probably not going to be putting too much effort into this league. Sorry. But, the auto draft REALLY screwed up my draft. It didn't use my rankings at all. It drafted Steve Smith #3?!?!
What the heck is the point of me setting my rankings if the piece of crap isn't going to use them?
Why would it skip Larry Johnson (my number three overall player) for me and then draft him 4th to netslave. That is just crap.

SWHorn, best thing i can say is that i think a lot of people are in your position, and got players they don't want, and missed out on ones they did... start offering trades around, see if anyone bites. You might not get LJ for Steve Smith, but if you need to upograde at RB, Smith may be a place to start....
