I is teh newbie. I LOVE DISNEY!! how i make avatar?

Tee hee, okay, seriously, I signed up for this awhile ago, but couldn't listen to it until I moved out of College Program housing for various technical reasons so baffling no man was meant to understand. I never thought to go to the forums, though. Except maybe once.

Seriously, though, how to I make teh avatar? I have some good ones.

put your pisture you want to use into a handy-dandy little photo host site (Photobucket, snap fish, etc). then, go into your profile (click profile at the top of the forums) and at the bottm, enter in the url for the pic.

no max. Just remember that whatever size picture you have will be reduced enough to fit under your name in every post you make.

I did that and they said it wasn't a valid URL. What are some common mistakes I'm probably making? I'm all the time making mistakes...

send me the link you're trying to use. I can edit your profile to add the picture.

New Here!

Post by wdwdancerwannabe » Feb Sat 03, 2007 5:32 am

hello!
I'm new to this sight - no fancy signatures or avitars...yet.
I'm working on a project (Slide Show) for my family for our upcoming WDW trip and I'm trying to find audio files from the parks to DOWNLOAD. So far, I've found out how to listen to many...

any advice or links would be helpful!

Welcome to he site, we're glad you found us. we're not a download site, or a file server in any capacity. We're strictly an internet radio station, listen only. You can try the new Swatfox Forums. The owner of the forums has a FTP-type site set up with various WDW audio (you have to join to access the files). In addition, you can try Visions Fantastic. They have some downloads for various areas of the parks, including Disneyland

New to Subsonic!

Post by TheLateBloomer » Feb Mon 12, 2007 12:08 pm

Greetings all! :D I just joined this morning and I was thrilled to find a site that really played great music/sounds from the WDW parks! I have been searching for a while because sometimes you just gotta have a Disney fix. The site also looks really great - impressive graphics!

Um, a little about me ... I'm a native New Yorker, I'm in my twenties, I'm into a little bit of everything and if I haven't tried it ... I probably will eventually! I love to paint, write, go to concerts, and shop (especially in World Showcase).

Some of my fave rides of all time are The Haunted Mansion and The Pirates of the Caribbean (pre-Jack Sparrow addition). I also have a soft spot for Maelstrom in the Norway Pavillion.

Well, that's it for now. But I hope to be a semi-frequent poster.

Oh, and I love Goofy! :goofy:
Respect & Regards,
The Late Bloomer

Maelstrom rules.

Welcome! Feel free to dive right in to conversations, no reason to be shy around here.
