Dec 2010: Mayhem Invades Disney World!!!

Great pics Amy! Great shots of the details on TSM since one is usually spinning and whizzing by and cannot see them well. I have always loved the theming at Muppet Vision...and was sad that the DCA version didn't have nearly the detail as DHS. (of course there's much less space at DCA as well)
I must also mention the AK pics...I love the nighttime pics and am sad that it sounds like we won't get to experience it anytime soon. The EE pics were AWESOME! Not sure what to make of the crotch shot of the dino though...

P.S. As far as the little guy from Tangled goes, his name is Pascal (sp?) and I fell in love with him long before we ever saw the movie. There was an ornament at the Disney Store of him holding a paintbrush...too cute. Even after seeing the movie, he's still my fave character...though the horse is a close second.

I just liked the colors and lighting of that particular, um, well, crotch shot I have another one that you probably will groan at that shows the lights that kind of look like milk teats! Maybe it was a combination of too little sleep and too much rum
My students have told me the horse in Tangled is quite the character.

When did Toontown close? It was still open when we were there two weeks ago. The station was closed but barnstormer, Mickey and Minnie's houses and the tent were all still running.

February 11th was its last day of operation. Since then, a wall has blocked guests from the entrance from Fantasyland and a double scrim has blocked guests from the train station.

I was there on February 19th and it was pretty crowded for President's Day weekend and there were tall walls there. I really doubt they would have reopened it after it closed.

It's not that, Amy. Sleepy90 is from the UK, so I think the problem is that Sleepy90's TARDIS has a problem with getting the exact dates right. Needs to get that fixed some day.

You guys crack me up No problem with the Tardis or the watch it was open on Feb 15th, we left on Feb 17th so I don't know what happened maybe they let me in for one last time and put the walls up that night who knows?

Train station was closed and the walls were up there, can't remember seeing the little playground but Barnstomer was running. Now I'm starting to doubt myself maybe we did go before we went to see the Cheerleading nationals in which case it would have been the 11th but I'm almost certain it was after.

My oldest brother and I always joke, he is Dory and I am Dory Jr. I can totally relate! I kept notes on my iphone this past trip so I could do my trip report, otherwise it would have been all photos with the caption, "we were at WDW!"
