Sony also has a recovery program that you can download. I'll see if I can dig up the address...

I used to work at the Jazz Club on Pleasure Island. I am kind of sad to see it go. It was a wonderful place for people who were in their early twenties and thirties to mix and mingle with people their own age. Also a great place for cast members to go on a Thursday night to relax. I definately will miss the AC and the comedy club as well.

Awww I remember going to the Jazz club with my dad when I was younger and under 18 had to be accompanied by a parent when the Island was gated off.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

that is so disappointing! when we were last there, the comedy warehouse and adventurer's club were our two favorite places in pleasure island. i can see the point of family-friendly, but not everyone who comes to disneyworld have children. what about honeymooning couples and adults who just love to be 'big kids'?

i really wish disney hadn't done this. :(

I heard that all of the signs were already painted over by the next day...that is soooo sad :( And they had a guy playing drums in front of AC...:(

I dunno.

I agree it's a shame AC and the Comedy club seem to be lumped in with the ones that are getting the axe, though.
I agree. I walked over there once, and that was the only place I've seen any Police officers at WDW and there were more officers there than in my home town here in Minnesota. Things were really starting to get out of hand over there. There were reports of violence in the last couple of years, and it only seemed to be getting worse.

I hope too that AC and the comedy club fit into the future plans.

Well I know Jungle Jim's which is RIGHT outside of WDW towards the DTD side of the world was closed because some guy got his throat slashed in a gang-related incident. It's pretty scary that gangs are getting brazen enough to start taking their turf B.S. into WDW...

I don't know if it's still there or not but that little (formerly rather large) area by the now AFI museum used to house a permanent cutout of Jessica you could pose with. I'm sure there was also a Roger somewhere; the place was themed after him and Toon Town.

looks like they are finally going to get moving on some new stuff @ Pleasure Island. But beware Adventurer's Club fans. There is some news in here that could be quite disturbing to you.....
