Movies, TV, music, and more. Here's the place to talk about anything Disney outside of the parks.

Thankfully for me and other Donald nuts out there, they sell the old Donald cartoons on DVD in the Disney Treasures sets. The Chronological Donald Volume 4 just came out Tuesday. And I just came back from the store a bit ago with my copy. Woo-hoo!
Still wish they'd play them on TV though. I'd love to see some of the old Disneyland specials on TV too, or even old Christmas Day parades. That'd be neat to see how they changed over the years.

When my kids were small, (many years ago), I used to program the VCR to record "Vault Disney". I think it used to come on super late, like after midnight. Then I would have to replay for my kids and introduce them to all the old favorites. I wish I knew where all those old tapes were! I would love to see all the great old stuff again.

I was only born in the 90's, so I can't say much about the tv shows, but I would love to see stuff like the shorts and the Wonderful World of Color.
Slightly unrelated, Turner Classic Movies sometimes does the older Disney movies, like Escape to Witch Mountain.

If this happened, this would instantly become my favorite channel on TV.
11/12 - All Star Sports (1 night), free upgrade to AKL Jambo House (4 nights)
2/12, 10/11, 4/11, 4/09, 4/08, 4/07 - Pop Century
4/06, 4/05 - All Star Sports
00 - Offsite
11/99 - Fort Wilderness
Before 99 - Lost count along the way

They should have a "Vault Disney" channel. Show the old TV shows, cartoons, movies..etc I love the classic Disney stuff! (and I like Talespin, DuckTales Gummi Bears and Rescue Rangers too!)
Slightly unrelated, Turner Classic Movies sometimes does the older Disney movies, like Escape to Witch Mountain.
I watched Escape and Return a few weeks ago...they don't make 'em like that anymore.
Sometimes on Saturday mornings, the Hallmark channel will show classic Disney movies too (I've seen Pollyanna, the original Parent Trap, Apple Dumpling Gang, In Search of Castaways, Swiss Family Robinson..among others)

Disney should at least start playing some old movies and cartoons on the Disney Channel.
