Shut down the whole ride? I remember one time they used to smuggle the celebs in through a back door and they boarded in the disembarking area instead of the boarding area.

That's what I have heard too...about them ushering in celebs through the back door, but I wondered this past time since there were at least 10 different CM's, several of whom looked more managerial, shooing people away from RnR, and they were taping something back there a few days after that.

I think if celebs are going to come to a place like Disney, they should stand in line like everyone else. They know what the place is all about.

I think Disney uses the back door for celebrities as much for controlling any concerns with crowds trying to rush the celebrity, or causing big roadblocks of people, as much as for the "celebrity" treatment.

Personally, if I was a celebrity, I wouldn't want to be out among the masses trying to enjoy the attractions and shows. Too much mobbing! People tend to forget that celebrities have a right to privacy as well.

I have encountered some minor celebs in my time there... should have seen it the day that the American Idol people were at Saratoga. It was nuts!

Many celebs stay on the down low because they don't "announce" that they are there. They wear a hat and glasses wih a regular tee shirt and shorts and they look like every other parent with their kids. Anyway, they could say they were just look alikes instead of who they were if they didn't want to be bothered. When I'm at Disney, I could care less who is there-I'm there for my kids an wife-meeting some celeb would not make my day.

Many celebs LOVE to be mobbed because they enjoy it (or even more sad..."need it").
