I was accepted into Florida as an underclassman. It ended up just being a bit too far away and a bit too expensive for me back then. ;) I tend to cheer for Florida, assuming they aren't playing my Buckeyes.
Boiler Up Arete! Go BIG TEN!

I play a few things.

Electric/Acoustic guitar for 12 years.
Bass guitar for one year.
Drums for two years
I do sing but only when I'm alone

I started with piano in 2nd grade and took lessons for 2 years then quit. In 5th grade my mom started me out with a nice small clarinet. Played that for 2 years. (hmm, the start of a trend?) "And then one time at band camp...". Ok, sorry about that. Actually I did go to band camp between 6th and 7th grade and picked up a trumpet. Loved it. I wanted to play it in 7th grade but I guess there were already too many trumpets, so the director asked if I wanted to play the baritone. Mmm, bigger brass. Like that even more than the trumpet.

Played baritone 2 years (there's that trend again). There must have been too many baritones in high school because the director there asked if I wanted to play the tuba. Now we're talking BIG brass. Played the tuba 4 years of high school and the 1st 2 years of college. Some professionally. Loved the tuba the most! Haven't played since.

My 2 sons are now playing trumpet and tenor sax respectively. Yay. However just this morning, my older son (entering high school next year) asked if he could ask the director to play tube. :D
