I must say, I wouldn't necessarily pay full price for it. The only time my family and I did was when the Chicago one was opened and we went there.

We usually do an add on because my brother and I enjoy it so much. But he and I are college student aged, so there's much more to do for us than for my parents. They mostly sat in the cafe, which they did like a lot because it had an interactive element too. My mom likes the Buzz Lightyear bumper car type ride. Both of my parents like the Alien Encounter one too.

I have the video tour up on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rMNZ1Cjj2Q

My husband loves Disney Quest. I guess if you are a video game fanatic you love that you can play all the video games you want. We always purchase it as an add on to our Park Hopper tickets which includes admission into Pleasure Island and the water Parks. I can take or leave DQ. On a rainy evening it is something fun to do that is keeps you dry. My favorite thing at DQ is designing and then riding you own rollercoaster!!! If you have never done it it is a lot of fun. The wait tends to be long for this though.

I really need to find a way to "try before I buy".

I think its too late to add the "and more" onto our Magic Your Way Tickets. We bought 10-day park hopper passes in 2005 (with no expiration obviously) and only used 1 day (post cruise).

Don't you have to add the "and more" on within 14 days of initial use or you can't change the ticket anymore?

I knew I should have done it back in the '90's when it was pay per activity or I actually had the water park/PI add-on. Before I had kids PI was actually accomplishable.

you can add onto/upgrade your tickets at any time, so long as you have not used the tickets yet. that's what I was told by Disney when I asked if we could add features to the Magic Your Way Passes or add the dining plan. If you've already used them, they will not allow you to add on.

I was never all that interested in it until my Dad went once with my stepmom and came back raving about how you got to create your own roller coaster and shoot cannons off the side of a pirate ship and he insisted that I go at the first opportunity.

Well, I could have gone for free for a period of time since I was a cast member, and then I could have gone for half off the ticket price, but I didn't take advantage of that for a couple years after that and, wow, was I glad I did! I went about three times and had a blast in the Pirates ride (not based on the attraction at MK or the movie, but still fun), the roller coaster, and the arcade games. It's a nice break from being outdoors in the heat all day. I wouldn't call this a full day of entertainment, but certainly great for a leisurely day when you don't feel like spending all of it in a park.
