I don't remember what the forums were like at the time I joined, but I'm pretty sure that activity has been slowly rising. Lots of loyal members.AlexLoup wrote:I noticed that things have quieted down now since it started. Which may be good, or bad I don't know.

I got what ya meant. Sorry, I didn't address it right then. I think a lot of people who post now, have been around before the 50th started, but have just started posting more from about a half a year ago. Just seems that way to me.
And Eagle, I do remember when there was no point system. I think when I first joined, you could request as much as you wanted. Or something like that.

And i have that feeling again now so i'm posting again.Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:I admit there have been days where I just lounge around the forums because of not wanting to do hw. Any distraction was welcome. Around the beginning of the 50th anniversary, there was a surge in activity.

that's part of the reason why the points system was started. people would request the hour-long tracks back to back and would tie up the system for a good 5 or 6 hours. got to be too much for most people...And Eagle, I do remember when there was no point system. I like the points system, It is defnitely worth it, You have to earn it to hear some of the long tracks. I'm slowly moving up in the points and I like it

I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Hi:
I'm new here and figure I may as well post by "hi" here as anywhere. I love music and I love Disneyland, so this is an ideal site for me. Glad I found it. The point system is very wise. I doubt I'll post too much since I don't often have much to offer (even though the temptation of "points" to hear the big files is tempting).
Thanks to Sub for an excellent site!

We talk about almost everything so i'm sure if you visit the fourms enough you'll find a discussion that you want to participate in.

A little late, but welcome Dr. G!!
I haven't had time to post, work is keeping me too dang busy and I know my friends would never believe this but sometimes I just have nothing to say
I do love reading the posts regardless if I chime in with anything or not. I love this group of people, for the most part we are like one big happy Disney family. I think WE should be making the decisions on how the company is run
As you can see, nothing really exciting in my post. I had a few minutes before everyone else gets to work, so I decided to get my requests in so I can hear them before the phones start up and the people flowing in and out of my office occurs! See, like I said, I am so at a loss for words
ha ha ha
