I'm still a bit confused, obviously the Dole Whip is different than pineapple ice cream since it can be swirled with ice cream but what then is the Dole Whip? Is it just frozen pineapple juice? Is there some sort of other secret ingredient? I'm guessing it could be THC given the apparent addictive qualities of the Dole Whip!

Ha!!! That could be true!
As far as the Dole Whip goes, it is a pineapple soft serve dessert. However, there are a few options on how one may enjoy said Dole Whip. There is the Dolw Whip Float...which is the DW in pineapple juice (too sweet IMHO), then there is (only in WDW I believe) the option of having vanilla ice cream swirled with the DW.

If there are any other options, could some other DW afficianados fill us in please?

Personally, I like the DW on it's own. MMMMM!!!!!!

I can't wait for my holiday Dole Whip! Oh, I can taste it now! I'm eating some Pineapple as I type this, I think that's as close as I will get to my Dole Whip until WDW! *sigh*

Couldn't you throw some pineapple. ice and a little cream into a blender?
Or...Walmart has a great thing called orange shake. It is a powdered mix that usually hangs out by the bananas or in the fruit section. If you mix that with oranges and ice you get a Orange Julius clone. They have different mixes too. There is a banana one and a pineapple one that I bought once. I think it was actually tropical pineapple and when I opened the bag the coconut smell assaulted my poor little nose. I am allergic to coconut so that was no good. But I passed it along to my friend who said it was quite tasty mixed with pineapple juice. It would be a drink instead of a spoonable dessert but you might like it!

BTW Dole Whip I had at WDW was pineapple only, no coconut.
