Any substantial changes H or is everything pretty much the same from when you messaged me? I know that we actually had it once where Disney did July 4th hours the day or two before so we were surprised to find out what was going on when we got there. Keep checking up until the day before you leave as things should get finalized with Disney's operating schedule by that point.

Everything is the same here, except I added some magic for the night we arrive--lil surprise for the fam.
But the parks and hours and such are the same since we msgd.

Just beware, as I learned in Dec 2010, they can change even at the last minute...

Rutgers is quite a large and spread-out place; but having said that, the power of coincidence can defy logic and disbelief sometimes...

Feeling the lucky 8's today are we Len?! Less than 3 weeks now...the excitement is building to a fevered pitch! Are you going to be home in time for the fantasy football draft, or are you going to have to have your picks all set up in advance?

The draft was scheduled on the 28th for that very reason. We return on the 27th and this draft will be something enjoyable for us to look forward to.

I am technically a student first but exceptions can be made (like Disney).

Chells: very interesting to see the Rutgers connection. As Amy posted, I am going into my senior year at Rutgers. It may be a large place but the Disney people have their ways of finding each other.

Haha that is the only person who came to mind when I heard senior at Rutgers and saw your location as Brooklyn. However, I didn't want to take a chance in guessing it and being wrong. From what I recall she is also a member on here but doesn't post that frequently. I am definitely not going to let her down for passing up time in Disney!

We are a totally Disney family, could def call us obsessed. We go every year, last year 3 times. Our resort is the Beach Club, although its not the same without Art.

My oldest daughter got married last year and she wanted to have a Disney wedding, but her father talked her into a big extravaganza in NJ so everybody and their Aunt Tilly could be there. Soooo, after the wedding we all went down to Disney and celebrated again! It was wonderful!
This time it looks like Sarina will be the only chickadee not making it down.

Yeah I recall comparing our Disney photos at the start of this past semester in the DCC. It seems like YC/BC have been getting a lot more popularity. Does the Stormalong Bay pool complex have any significant role in your decision? For us the pool is a huge thing. Kind of cool to see I'm not the only one who also has a Diseny obsessed family at RU. In fact there are a lot of us there. I have at least 5 people whom I've met at Rutgers from random Disney encounters.

What are your exact dates? She technically would have to move in on Wednesday the 31st as the first day of classes is Thursday Sept. 1. However, the general rule of thumb is you won't miss anything too important on the first two days. If I was in her position I would get down for at least a couple of days. I'm guessing you leave for WDW on the 25th or so? There is no reason why she can't go from the 25th to the 30th if she really is trying to be a good student
