Ooh, you just reminded me about Buzz, I did get stuck on Buzz once and it was for a while. The annoying thing was that I wasn't in the ride yet. This was in Disneyland, just as you leave the load area you get to a castmember that makes sure you don't get hurt when the front half of the Omni-mover closes that is where I go stuck. The cool thing about it was that I got to see the safety procedures first hand. They use padlocks to lock down the control board so no one can activate the ride while they are checking it out, just like when you do work on an electrical panel and you don't want someone turning the power on. Then, this is the even cooler bit, they head into the ride walking alongside the omni-movers, and on the screen on the control panel you can see their foot prints. I have heard that this is the same thing that happens over on Tom Sawyer Island when they shut it down, they have sensors all over it. But back to the Buzz ride, I could see exactly where they went and where they stopped. After about 10 minutes they started on their way back and you could see them stop at a few omni-movers, either to check them out or answer questions from concerned guests.Mark86 wrote:I have been stuck on the haunted mansion and buzz. They only broke for 15 minutes though.
So that was my breakdown that I can remember, thank you Mark for jogging my memory.

The day we were leaving DL I got stuck on Peter Pan right above the London scene. We were there for a long time and then they turned on the lights. We were there a lot longer after the lights came up. I was so bummed that I didn't have my camera. I was traveling light because I only had an hour or so until the bus left for the airport. It was cool to see what looked so real in the dark and black lights was really pretty simple when seen in the regular lights. I'll never forget the "cars" on the streets were just little l.e.d. lights going around on a track. Fun to see but it really does ruin the illusion, plus it hogged a lot of my very little time I had that morning to see a few last things.

Space Mountain...did not get evacuated, but got to finish the ride with the lights on. Unfortunately, we were in the last braking section before the spiral sequence at the end. It was kind of creepy though at first because it was pitch black when we first were stopped and you could hear the other trains still going through gravity sections...we didn't know if we should brace oursevles or be excited. As soon as the lights came on we went nuts!
Test Track..... we thought we'd be evacuated but the ride started back. And SSE once- it was broken down for about thirty minutes! And HM.... multiple multiple times.
And Splash Mountain one time...... I had to hear a never-ending loop of "Ev'rybody's Got a Laughin' Place" for at least twenty minutes.

Dinosaur, Alice in wonderland, Pirates of the Carribbean and Adventures in Innerspace. The last one made the biggest impression, I can still hear the echo 40 years later!

Soarin, I would have hated to be stuck on a broken down SSE for a half hour if it were during the descent back to "the present". Being held up, lying in that backwards sloped position sounds uncomfortable.
Are we there yet? When can we go back?
I don't know what's worse, the anticipation of going or the withdrawals after getting home.

Actually the worst part is that the speaker is really close to your ride vehicle in that area and it's like they're screaming in your ears "Please stay in your ride vehicle...."rknrlrcstr wrote:Soarin, I would have hated to be stuck on a broken down SSE for a half hour if it were during the descent back to "the present". And, if they ever turn on the lights in that planetarium part of the ride it just really spoils it b/c of what you can see.
Exiting Dinosaur wasn't too bad really b/c even w/ the lights on it's pretty good theming in there w/ the plants and all.
