Oh yes this was fun we got locked in at Pirates of the Carri bean. The two people behind us looked horrified and asked what was happening my reply probably didn't help much as laughing I replied "Dead men tell no tales" however they saw the funny side and then proceeded to tell me that they had been in line for the mansion for 20mins when the Cast Members told everyone the attraction was down and they did not know when it would be back up. Splash was down as well but I do not know if it was the same problem as they seemed to be having problems with splash throughout the whole trip.
We waited patiently while people in front of us left by the emergency exit in droves and it took maybe 15-20 mins to get up and running again but everyone who stayed in line where in good humour and we sang a few renditions of A Pirate's life for me to keep it going.

Sounds like you made the best of a bad situation. I can just imagine those people's faces when you said "Dead men tell no tales!"

We were still in line not actually on the ride itself.

I wonder if maybe they forgot to say goodnight to George? Glad to hear people took it all in stride. Although I would tend to believe guest services was a madhouse with people demanding refunds due to the attractions not operating

That might have been a blessing in disguise. Can you imagine having to listen to the cannon over and over?
Or if you were stuck right above the drop?

But it would be cool to be broken down by the auction scene! I would take lots of pictures

If you got stuck by Carlos and the well I wonder how many times you would see him get dunked?

Probably enough times that he might give up, be cheeckin', and tell

yeah...it's probably better next to the singing donkey all day every day than by Carlos' nagging wife!

I would choose Carlo's wife over hearing that silly donkey bray over, and over, and over, and over

I'd chose either over the whistling prisoners trying to get the dog with the keys to come closer...

We are all a little weird
And life's a little weird,
And when we find someone whose
Weirdness is compatible with ours,
We join up with them and fall in
Mutual weirdness and call it Love.”

Sometimes that gets stuck in my head

I would opt for battle between Wicked Wench and fort, preferrably with the original Paul Frees audio instead of the Captain Barbossa dialog.
