fixed. You just have to go back to the original post you made and edit it. That's the post where the poll options are put in.

Wilderness Lodge all the way. The only downside is transportation late in the day. The funny thing is that I've been to DL more than WDW and staying at WL is like staying at the Grand California.

Plus, since I'm from the Northwest (Seattle) and since WL is designed from NW styling (and the "great" lodges from places like Yellowstone) it feels more like home than say the Polynesian.

Mighty tough call, much as a love the Contemporary and the futuristic theme, Poly it is... Just something about those tropics and tiki gods. GF is terrific but too hoighty-toighty, didn't quite feel like I fit in...

I suck. I have to go with the Contemporary, because that's the only resort I've stayed at out of the ones on the poll. I suck because I wish I have stayed at more resorts. But when I'm older, I'm going to stay at all of them at least once, so I'm just anxious right now. Gahhh, I cannot wait.

Anyway, my family would always stay at the Contemporary when we went. My mom would get us a room on the same floor as the Monorail, so in the morning we could just get right on. I've asked my mom if the Monorail was ever loud, because I don't really remember staying there, I was under 3. I still go there now, stopping at the monorail and pin trading, but the sound of the monorail isn't bad then so I don't know why I even asked my mom. I have no idea where I'm going with this, heh.

I think for my next trip, this November, I'm going to take a bus or boat to all the resorts so I can see them. I've always wanted to look at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian.

I never really thought about it, but I've stayed at every Magic Kingdom Resort ... Even the Disney Inn, now known as Shades of Green.
Our honeymoon was in the Grand Floridian, but I voted for Wilderness Lodge as the best... Probably because that's the only one I have stayed at since we have had our daughter hwo is now 4 1/2 years old.
I now understand what my parents saw when we went to Disney World as children.... The prespective is completely different and thrills and emotions are far more intense just wathcing her stare wide eyed and completely happy... Yeah... I'm a Disney Dad....

I just stayed at SOG in October - it's nice enough, but no theme whatsoever - it didn't feel at all like Disney but more like a Hyatt or Marriott property. Location is great.

Actually Siriuslydead we stayed there just before the military leased it, when it was still called the Disney Inn... The rooms were "older in style", and the Inn was "nice but dated"... It semed that most of the guests that stayed there were hard core golf fanatics and since it was located between two of the courses, they were in heaven. There was still quite a bit of Disney themes throughout the resort, and it was really quiet and nice, being off the beaten path...
According to AKLRULZ, it appears that the military has even toned down the resort themes from what it was before.

Oh wow, that's very cool. Even though it had the description you gave it, and other descriptions I've heard, and I have no passion for golf what-so-ever, I think it would be neat to stay there. I probably would have liked it more when it was the Disney Inn. But now I couldn't even have a chance to get in. I'm sure it would have been nice since it was quiet and all, but I enjoy the Disney theming.

I Have stayed at Poly & WL before....loved Poly...hated WL. On my next trip I am think about Contemporary. I have seen them all because we always resort hop on our trips.

Why did you hate Wilderness Lodge? From the polls and from personal experience it seems to be one of the most well-liked.

Love Tomorrowland and Adventureland, but hard to decide to which one is best.

The only real Disney feel, IMO, is the main pool which is shaped like Mickey (leftover from the Disney Inn days).

What could make you possibly compare the Contemporary to a motel?
