There is also a large cast parking lot to the North of the parking structure .

That is the Timon parking Lot, which is my favorite, it is to become the new Carsland in future.

As for those lost cost homes, that has been thrown out. The company in charge of getting the zoning and building them let it fall apart. Basically they didn't show up to any of the hearings. I forget the articles that I read, just finished looking for them for about 10 minutes, but the info is out there. I will still try to find it later.

Ok I'm confused is this referring to the parking lot North or South of Katella? The one South of Katella is Cast Parking. Help my confused brain. Lol.

I'm sorry, I thought you guys were talking about the Timon Parking lot. I see now that you are in fact talking about the Cast Member parking area. Sorry for the confusion.

Its cool! You did confirm what I thought would be a great idea in my mind though to take the Timon parking and make that Carsland! Finally DCA will take more than 12min to walk through. Lol.

I am excited about the changes for DCA myself... I was never impressed with the First go-around. I visited two weeks after the official opening and was reminded of Walt Disney sitting on a bench at the amusement park with his girls dreaming of something better... they should make a bronze statue of that with Walt looking over at Paradise Pier haha!!!!

Anyhoo... at least i'll remember the original layout of the park and have stories for whenever I have kids and they ask about the "old days" haha
