Oh I forgot about Pecos Bill's. One of our favorite fast food places. (Although it's never really fast LOL). My wife loves the fact that they have all the extra toppings to put on her burger. This place really adds to the area!

Looks like I voted with the majority in giving this land a "4". It has some of my favorites (Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain) so it can't be missed on any trip. I do enjoy the whole atmosphere of this land, not just the rides. My only gripe would be the dive-bombing birds that swoop down at your head looking to steal a bite of fries or other goodies. Although I don't care to ride over to Tom Sawyer Island that often, I do enjoy the view of the water and the trees over there. I could just watch people come off of Splash Mountain and have fun.

I love this part of the park, but couldn't spend hours here. It gets a 4. Obviously, the 2 mountains are not to be missed (unless you're my youngest and don't like walking around in wet clothes after Splash!). Tom Sawyer Island needs help. I love this Island, but the raft ride is a pain, but nothing compared to the kids that run completely unsupervised on the Island. Most are well behaved, but I just think its a prime opportunity for kids to get hurt or, even worse, run into some sicko (it happens!!). And don't get me started on CBJ --- never liked it and never will. Food and shopping are tolerable.

By far Frontierland is my fav. Splash and BTMRR are my biggest draw and I love the theming and music. And just looking out at Tom Sawyer Island is wonderful. I could spend all day, if not the majority of my day, in this land.

I have only seen it once but don't remember it being THAT bad...maybe I will have to check it out again.

Frontierland is a 4 for me. Big thunder is my favorite. I have not been to Tom Sawyer Island since I was there in 1986 when my daughters were young. The main reason is having to take that raft over to it. On the other hand, having to use the raft probably keeps the crowd tolerable over there. Country bears needs new AAs and other plussing. Here's the next challenge for imagineers - build an animal AA whose skin and musculature are realistic and move properly without wrinkles. The current bears look like they're wearing ill-fitting fur coats.

5 from me. This (in concert with Liberty Square) is the best 'Imagineered', most richly detailed land in the Magic Kingdom. Home to two of the best attractions in the MK (BtMR and Splash), and old school things like the Bears (which are in desperate need of refurb) and Tom Sawyer Island (which, I agree with others, has unrealized potential).
Really cool to look at in terms of the design, where the numbers on the buildings roughly correspond to the time period the building is styled after, and increase from Liberty Square to Adventureland. Likewise the way you work 'west' from the Hudson River Valley in Liberty Square to Utah (Byce Canyon) around BtMR. The detail of the effluent river (ew) running down the middle of the paths and at the same time representing the Mississippi when you cross it. I think Frontierland has the most design touches like that where you can really feel the impact of Imagineering at its best. Even the kinetics associated with Splash, which kind of intrudes on the westward transition (and time transition I guess), but integrate the ride seamlessly into the area anyway. Just wonderful work on the part of WDI.
The only things that have hurt it lately is letting Country Bears fall into disrepair (honestly the quality of the audio in December made me consider walking out, and I love the Bears), and the closing of the Diamond Horseshoe (and failing to put much of anything back in its place, other than more freakin' Pixar characters...)
Still. An excellent part of the park.
