Space is the only one I'd wait for an extended period of time if FP didn't exist. Love it!

I'm going to shock a lot of people here. Space Mountain is the only one I've ever been on!

I told you.

For a WDW fan, I don't actually get to go very often. I expect we'll go more once the kid (or one day maybe kids) is/are older.

When we were there on our honeymoon, both Splash and Big Thunder Mountains were closed. (There had just been an accident on the BTM in CA and SM was closed for scheduled repairs.)

Then, the last time we went, we had a toddler in tow. It was a relatively short trip anyway. So, the only "thrill" ride we made time to see was Expedition Everest because it was new.

But I promise to complete the Mountains on my next trip (in a few years).

I like all three, but Space Mountain gets my vote. Maybe because it was the first of the three I ever rode, or maybe it's just the sentimental feeling it gives me every time I'm walking up through the star tunnel with the background track playing, but that's my pick.

I would have to say Splash Mountain is my favourite just because of all the detail on the ride and in the queue. Space Mountain come a close second especially for the Pink Floyd-esq Pitch shifting audio in the queue where all the stars are. I could listen to that all day.

I have to go with the classic Space Mountain. I would like to see it with the lights on.

definitely splash mountain. it's so wonderfully themed...the whole ride is a marvel, to me.

as far as space mountain goes, i don't like it much at all-- it's not a smooth ride, since it's an older coaster, and i don't find anything really unique about it in today's day and age.

big thunder is ok, but reminscent of great adventure knock-offs. nothing i'm crazy about.

but splash mountain, there's nothing like it!

In my personal opinion, Big Thunder is missing that grand finale that would compare it to some of the great coasters in theme parks everywhere. The beginning and middle portions are great, but the final act is lacking a little. They should extend it, make it faster or something...

I would say space mtn but I'm afraid of the dark...
I would say splash mtn but I don't like to get wet....
I would say Expedition EVEREST if that counts, but it goes backwards...

so by far and without a doubt my vote goes to Big Thunder!! It's fast, but not off the hook, I love the theming, and best of all its FUN!

I would say splash mountain, cause its about 10 minutes long. You get more bang for your wait time.

Do they have the Matterhorn Mountain at WDW? I haven't been in hundreds of years, so I can't remember...........I didn't see it on the list, that's why I asked.

no, they don't, bostoncg. i've never been on it, but from what i've read and seen on the net, everest is themed similarly, with the yeti and all.
