Of course, if the Allegrini is little too dry for this early in the morning, try the 2008 Alexander Valley "Sin Zin" Zinfandel. It's got a little more "wake up" presence on the palate, with an illusion of semi-sweetness in the finish... like waking from a pleasant dream.

Wow, all of a sudden I feel like I'm with Paul Giamatti in "Sideways"!

(personally, I like white wines...sauvignon blanc being my favorite. If I drink a red, it would most likely be a pinot noir or a blend)
