That story took place on 9/18/08 which was a Thursday. It didn't rotate before we even went on it too which should have said something. That day was very weird at the Magic Kingdom...not only was there a lot of management at the parks..there was a lot of guests which was weird considering the other parks were empty...Also a few other rides at MK broke down that day too...I really hope management noticed that!srik wrote:packwingfn, did that story take place on the morning of 9/21/08? My family and I were queued up for CoP for a while, watching the building not rotate and wondering if we should actually get on if it ever started up again... (which it did and we did and got through without incident)
Please give COP some TLC!!!
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Not to completely continue going off topic but....I was at MK in June one day and like 4 or 5 different rides broke down. At one point, Peter Pan, Small World, and Philharmagic were all down at the same time. Then BTMR, Splash Mt, and Haunted Mansion would take turns breaking down...it was a weird day. Does that happen often?
I'm excited for the next picture!

Not to continue being off-topic, but since we are waitng for the next pic I figured I'd ad my input on the current topic. We were there over Memorial Day weekend 2008 and also had 4 or 5 ride interruptions in the MK in one day. And not the typical 20-30 second interruption but more like 2-3 minutes. Doesn't sound long but when it happens on just about every ride in Fantasyland it started to get annoying. Although it did happen to occur in the Haunted Mansion right on the newly refurbed "steps" which I didn't mind at all

Croaker set the rule that if someone takes longer than 24 hours it has been more than 24 hours, in fact it has been almost 48 hours. I vote that someone may post.Croaker wrote:My suggestion is 24hrs. if the poster of the picture doesn't reply in a 24 hr period then the next post following the 24 hour period can claim the right to post a new pic. i know i'm not guessing on the following pic because i'm going to be in Rapid City over the weekend and away from computers.
