Congrats on everyone getting fit.
Just as a bit of motivation, I brought my pedometer with me on our trip last week. We averaged just over six miles a day for a total of 30+ miles walked. We did the most walking during or trip to MNSSHP. That evening alone, from 4pm to 11pm we walked just over six miles (but well worth the candy haul :D ).
Oh, and as an interesting bit, we stayed at Kadani Villiage and it was a half mile from our room to the bus stop, so that means almost 20% of our walking was done at the resort!

A half mile from your room to the bus stop?! Whoah! You must have been way out on the back forty! Last time we stayed at AK Lodge, we walked over to Kadani Village to eat at Saana, and I didn't think that distance was even that far! You sure your pedometer is calibrated right?

Wow, I always knew that I walked my socks off at AKL. It is our favorite resort but we always been put out in timbucktu!

Mmeleota,
I know what you mean. I gained about 1.5 lbs this past weekend and have no real excuse for it other than the natural cycle of weight loss. We were supposed to exercise tonight but went Disney shopping in prep for our trip. I needed to order more contacts and get a few other things as well.

Nacler,
CONGRATS MAN!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!

Littlebit,
Every little bit helps! LOL   Keep up the good work.

Sleepy90,
I will post my stats on Friday afternoon. I can't tonight and tomorrow evening we have church. I get off early on Fridays so I will make it early in the afternoon! I stink at the Snowball Fight game. We Texans don’t get much practice in the real world. However, I am the HULA QUEEN! Watch out!

Sadly, yes the count was accurate, and yes, we were in the back forty. Or in Kadani Village terms, beyond the Pumba Elevator. :) However, our room was technically a "standard view", but it turned out to be a narrow walking trial for the animals to get to the savannah grounds, so we saw lots of animals and fairly close up.

Wow. Well, on the upside, you can get a lot of great animal pictures. We'll have to check that out next time.

Seeing the animals that close probably would make me forget all the extra walking to and from the room!

Ok Sleepy90 here it is

Advanced Step 572
Super Hula 828
Snowball Fight a whopping 16 hits. We Texans just don't get much practice down here.....
Tonight I unlocked the Advanced Snowball Fight so I will have to check out the flying snowman heads.

I am a little under the weather so walking and the step is about all I can do tonight!

I'll answer for her because I don't know when she'll have a chance to come back on here: yes, she is. That's not bad for only 3 minutes, right?

Yep, the feet have to get in shape too. I have to say that going to Disney is one of my main motivators for losing weight. I have had such a hard time and really don't want to let my feet or any physical conditions spoil my trip. Last year M-dude and I hit the wall and had to each spend a day at the resort in bed. I missed my Segway Tour because I just could not go anymore. It was so sad.....

I'm not letting that happen this year!!! I'm with you...LET'S GET THOSE FEET IN SHAPE!!!!Image

BTW I had lost 17 lbs and then gained 2-3 back as stated in an earlier post. Well, I lost the few I gained back and now have lost 18 lbs!! YEA!!!!

My personal goal is to lose those last 2 lbs to meet 20 whole lbs by Sunday. I came down with a bad cold so being sick this week may give me that edge to meet my goal (you know... you feel sick, you can't eat)...
