I've been away from the computer for about two weeks since I have to go through hell and back with calling Dell so I forgot about this for awhile.

I went to the site and added my email address. According to the countdown it looks like the announcement will be coming at 11:00 next Tuesday.

I just put a "meeting" in my Lotus Notes calendar at work for 11am EST on the 10th just in case someone sends me an invite for that time slot. Might be the only meeting I will actually enjoy that day!!

Well if you give into the rumors that just hit the Disney sites yesterday then you are looking at this:

" For a while it seemed like there were as many theories to what was behind the mysterious Are You 23? buzz campaign as there were people theorizing. Everything from the Walt Disney Company being founded in 1923 to Pixarâ€™s 23rd birthday to 23 films being released from the vault on the fateful day (possibly all on BluRay) to some special club akin to Disneylandâ€™s Club 33 and then some. Now the buzz all seems to be focusing on some semi-exclusive online club in which members get first access to various news, events and merchandise for a â€˜modestâ€™ annual fee. Only March 10 will know for sure, but until then, photos of these D23 pins have been making the rounds as of late."

I hope for their sake it is a big deal, otherwise they're gonna have a lot of annoyed people in interwebz land. Though I wouldn't put it past them to have botched it by not realizing the audience they have online; their website certainly suggests they still don't 'get' the internet.

Yes, I agree, I hope this isn't botched, Disney can't get internet, and ya think they would! I feel like they are missing a great outlet too!

Okay, this may be weird, but I just went to the www.disney.com/23 site to see the countdown, and now it is set for noon tomorrow. I guess they didn't figure in the time change over the weekend. As my DW would say, "Only you would recognize a detail that small." To which I usually reply, "It's a small world, afterall."
